Where it is situated / geographic position:
In the province of Brescia, the municipality of Corte Franca is situated in the Franciacorta district, the area to the west of Brescia inside the morainic circle formed by deposits left by the enormous sebino-camuno glacier, in the ice age. The area is situated along the road leading from the Rovato exit on the Milan-Venice motorway to Iseo and then along on the eastern Sebina road to the Camonica valley. It is also crossed by the Ferrovie Nord-managed Brescia-Iseo-Edolo railway, with a station at Borgonato.
How to get there by road:
By road leaving the Milan-Venice A4 motorway, at the Rovato exit, then taking route SP51 and continuing along route SPXI and then route SP49 which takes you to the centre of Corte Franca.
